And the winner is … In the pitching session for the UP19@it-sa Award, IDEE came out tops against eleven competitors. Yesterday’s event at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg also proved successful for the other finalists and also the participating investors and decision-makers from established companies, who enjoyed a compact overview of the innovations in the area of cyber security, and seized the opportunity offered by the competition to talk with the start-ups.
The nominated start-ups illustrate future-oriented solutions to optimise IT security, and to protect privacy and personal data. These include a platform for secure data sharing between parties entrusted with confidential information, an anonymisation solution for image-based analytics processes, a Blockchain-based two-factor authentication system, and a software development kit for secure apps.
As it works toward successfully marketing its solution, the winning start-up team can now look forward to individual coaching from the Digital Hub Cybersecurity and the Bavarian IT Security Cluster. As the third initiator, NürnbergMesse will offer the winner particularly attractive conditions for participation in it-sa 2020 as part of the Startup@it-sa area.
