In this presentation, Tobias Wicke uses "battle-tested" techniques to show how real attackers proceed. He draws on his many years of experience as a "good hacker" and shows that, despite active protective measures, it is usually still possible to cause enough damage and leak sensitive data.
He shows an initial infection of an employee's system (despite active anti-virus software), frequently encountered misconfigurations in Windows networks and their devastating consequences.
