Everything comes with AI now. Your fridge, your toothbrush, your cover letter, your SOC. The one thing that doesn't come with AI: an understanding of the problem you are about to automate.
There is an old line from sales: nobody wants a drill, everybody wants a hole. What the industry is selling right now is AI-powered drills. Faster, autonomous, self-learning. Except nobody asks what the hole was for anymore, whether it belongs in this particular wall, or whether the shelf would stand up just fine without it.
This talk is about what is left once you put the drill down. Three things cannot be automated away.
