AI offers companies enormous potential for increased productivity. But in practice, AI adoption is often slowed by concerns about data protection, the disclosure of sensitive information, and compliance. Another problem is the widespread use of private AI tools by employees (aka shadow AI). The result is untapped productivity potential for the company on the one hand, and acute security vulnerabilities due to potential data leaks on the other.
