it-sa 365 was launched today. Like the successful it-sa trade fair, the new digital information and dialogue service is aimed at IT security experts and decision-makers responsible for secure IT infrastructure. This digital expansion of the “Home of IT Security” made its debut with 160 participating providers and a full programme of lectures covering the three “Launch Days”. The next it-sa at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg will take place from 12 to 14 October 2021.
The new digital platform for dialogue provides an opportunity for the IT security sector to gather online at itsa365.de/en between scheduled physical trade fairs. All year round it-sa 365 offers information on the products and solutions from the participating providers, virtual expert lectures, workshops and discussion rounds, industry news, and also specialist publications by the providers. A key element it-sa 365 provides for registered users is a networking function to enable experts to engage with each other. Registrations can be made at itsa365.de/en.
Special Keynote by former “Anonymous” member Jake Davis
One of the highlights of the Launch Days programme is the Special Keynote “The Future of Hacking”: Jake Davis, a former member of hacker collectives Anonymous and LulzSec, will speak at mid-day on Thursday 8 October on his experiences in the hacker scene and developments that pose new challenges for IT security experts.
Which security startup will most impress the participants?
Another highlight of the Launch Days is the presentation of the UP20@it-sa award. Ten candidates picked by a jury of experts will present their pitches in virtual form from 14:00 to 16:00 on 8 October. The public will then vote online for the winner.
