Session description
Privileged Access Management is set and tasked to be used for as many elevated accounts as possible, even regular account privileges should be managed in the same way as privileged accounts. Such a broad application inevitably leads to a discussion about the use of PAM in analogy to the proverb ‘if everything is important, nothing is’. This session addresses trends and obstacles that are likely faced by organizations when considering, implementing, and operating PAM solutions. Regulatory mandates, organizational challenges, 3rd party contract, there is a host of influencing factors to address when aiming for just-in-time least privilege access throughout the organization.
