Session description

Speaker: Felix Kuhlenkamp

To what extent are companies and individuals currently affected by cyberattacks, and what role do industrial espionage and hybrid threats play? This presentation compiles the latest findings from recent Bitkom studies and provides context for the most important developments. Among other things, it focuses on the most common types of attacks, the economic consequences of cyberattacks, and changes in perpetrators and attack patterns.

The increasing use of AI and the growing significance of geopolitically motivated attacks are also examined. Based on key figures and findings, the presentation provides a concise overview of the cybersecurity landscape in Germany and the challenges that the business community and society must prepare for.
