Acronyms have always been a favorite pastime in the IT and security industries. Now, lawmakers are getting heavily involved and regulating everything under the sun: organizations (NIS2), products (CRA), and machines (MVO). A regulated world, one that banks and insurers (DORA) know all too well, is now becoming the norm for the rest of the economy.
