The reality in modern Security Operations Centers (SOC) is critical: Terabytes of log data flood in daily, security teams drown in a sea of disconnected alerts (alert fatigue), and severe talent shortages amplify the challenge. While threat actors leverage highly automated tools, many security teams remain bogged down by legacy, manual triage processes. The traditional SIEM model has reached its limit: It collects data, but fails to deliver timely context or actionable response. The result is a Mean Time to Respond (MTTR) measured in days or weeks—an unacceptable risk in the era of stringent mandates such as NIS-2.
