Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly being integrated into operational use across a growing number of application contexts. In doing so, AI is visibly transforming all areas of government, the economy, and society. As AI systems become more widespread and complex, the effort required to meet regulatory requirements increases accordingly, as does the need to take security-related aspects into account. Demonstrating the trustworthiness of an AI system therefore plays a key role in information security.
