The EU has recognised that cybersecurity and digitalisation are essential for a successful future. The Digital Europe Programme supports the development and widespread adoption of cybersecurity. For this purpose €108 million in funding will be available in 2026. The programme focuses on funding modern AI-based cybersecurity solutions and their widespread adoption by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), strengthening cybersecurity in critical infrastructures, solutions for compliance with EU regulations, and developments in the field of dual-use technologies.
