With the implementation of the NIS-2 Directive, cybersecurity is becoming an even more explicit responsibility of senior management. Section 38 of the German BSIG requires the management of affected companies to implement measures to meet cybersecurity requirements and to oversee their implementation. In addition, management is required to undergo regular training on cybersecurity risks.
