"Simple" is not necessarily the word you would assign with the term "e-Mail encryption", even if it can be very simple. Using both communication channels E-Mail and SMS - which nearly anybody in the world has available - E-Mail encryption can be implemented using passwords, one-time passwords and unique e-mail passwords.
