As a trade fair and congress, it-sa provides inspiration and expertise. Hardware and software in live demonstrations, training and consulting: a digital guide leads visitors through the offerings. Compared to the print catalogue, the app reduces the ecological footprint – as do the digital formats of the it-sa 365 digital platform, which enable virtual participation and exchange without travel.

Women in IT

Women in IT: a focus topic at the it-sa Expo&Congress. To promote gender equality in the cybersecurity community, it-sa has helped establish the German chapter of the European initiative ‘Women4Cyber’ by connecting strategic partners. It empowers women nationwide to seize career opportunities in IT security through a variety of educational programmes.

Sustainable implementation of events

We are continuously improving the footprint of our services. To this end, we select service partners who act in a value-oriented manner in the interests of our environment and society. With collective foresight, we gear our events towards a responsible experience - from resource-conserving stand construction solutions to catering with local food, reusable crockery and recycling systems. We support sustainable travel with our charging stations for electric cars and discounted train tickets as well as free use of public transport.

Sustainability at NürnbergMesse

As one of the largest exhibition companies in the world, we have aligned all our actions with social and ecological justice, based on the 17 sustainability goals of the United Nations. Parts of our exhibition halls are certified, as is our energy and environmental management. With a photovoltaic system, LED lamps, green electricity and other measures, we are working towards our major goal: a CO₂-neutral energy supply by 2028. We have been documenting our successes in an annual sustainability report since 2021.
