As early as 2020, the organisers of the "Germany's Best Hacker" competition started the search for "Franconia's Best Hacker" and extended the competition to "Bavaria's Best Hacker" in 2021. The number of participants exceeded all expectations and the feedback on the event was outstanding. Therefore, the Challenge was extended to the whole of Germany in 2022 and will take place as a non-profit initiative in 2023. 

Initiator Marco Di Filippo says: "We need professionals who understand how hackers operate and recognise IT vulnerabilities before they are exploited!
This is why we have launched "Germany's Best Hacker". We want to inspire the next generation to get involved with IT and IT security.
