Smart buildings have been around for a number of years and are becoming increasingly popular in recent times. The concept of a "smart building" refers to the use of advanced technologies and digital systems to manage and control various aspects of a building’s operations
as well as Internet of Things (IoT). The integration of advanced technologies in smart buildings does introduce new attack points for malicious actors. Penetration testing in smart buildings usually focus on a device or system instead of wide interconnected environments.
In this presentation an approach in performing a vulnerability and security assessment of a smart building is given.
