"OWASP" in the field of IT security is comparable to Wikipedia for encyclopedias - a worldwide non-profit project, supported by many volunteers, who have set themselves the goal of making the world's knowledge on the subject available. The result is free software, guides ("cheat sheets") and communication on conferences, mailing lists and - something unique in Germany - regulars' tables. The latter are currently taking place online due to the pandemic, so that one can participate in events from all over Germany from the comfort of one's desk at home, free of charge.
