Since 2001, CAST e.V. has annually awarded the IT Security 2023 Prize to authors of outstanding theses in the field of IT security.

Innovative ideas, interesting results, new perspectives and approaches that address current and relevant topics in IT security are sought after.

The prize is awarded in the following categories.

- Category 1: Master's and diploma theses (universities, colleges and vocational academies)

- Category 2: Bachelor's theses and student research projects (universities, colleges and universities of cooperative education)

Up to 6 theses (3 theses per category) will be nominated for the IT Security Promotion Award 2023 from the available submissions.

The final of the CAST Promotional Award IT Security 2023 took place on the Monday before it-sa.

The placements will be announced today.
