The workforce has quietly expanded: alongside people, autonomous AI agents now plan, act and make decisions at machine speed. This talk looks at what that means for the humans who are supposed to stay in control and why our instinctive answer, the "human in the loop", is becoming unrealistic when agents act faster than we can approve.
