Confidential Computing makes a promise that the cloud provider is technically unable to access its customers’ data. “We do not look inside” becomes “we cannot look inside”.
Uwe Geier, VP of IONOS Cloud and its Information Security Officer, shows how that promise becomes a verifiable state. He explains hardware-enforced memory encryption and validation against the customer’s own infrastructure. He also presents the limitations this costs in daily operation.
