mbEDGE is an IoT kit on SD card, which can be used to expand the industrial routers mbNET and mbNET.rokey (with key switch) into a powerful and secure edge gateway. The additional functions for data acquisition and processing enable pre-processing of data at the edge of the network (edge computing). Instead of transferring a large amount of raw data directly to the cloud, the captured machine and sensor data is evaluated locally and only the results are uploaded to the cloud.
