It-sa has added a new partner to its network: The German Federal Association for the Protection of Critical Infrastructures (BSKI) is supporting Europe’s biggest trade fair for cybersecurity in the capacity of official partner. The declared objective of the association, which was established in 2018, is to bring together all sectors involved in critical infrastructure to ensure a resilient society. In doing so the BSKI addresses areas such as energy and water management, government and administration, finance and insurance, and healthcare. The focus of the association’s work is on security of supply to the population and industry, says its President Holger Berens: “It is the challenge of the future. The BSKI is the point of contact for decision-makers from critical infrastructures when it comes to establishing integrated protection concepts.” And in this context, cybersecurity is especially important.
