Information technology (IT) is firmly anchored in every aspect of everyday life and is the basis of digitalisation. "Digital sovereignty" is a crucial precondition for Europe's competitiveness, with a view to "Industry 4.0", as well as for the operation of critical infrastructures (CRITIS) or GAIA-X and 5G. In this presentation, the architectural recommendations of the "Secure Platform" working group of the German IT Security Association (Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit e. V.) will be presented.
