To ensure the type approval of automobiles from the middle of next year, all OEMs are currently striving to comply with new regulations. The supply industry is busy implementing the cybersecurity requirements set by the OEMs. A "Certificate of Compliance," issued by technical service companies like TÜV or DEKRA, confirms the implementation of parts of the ISO/SAE 21434 standard. By the middle of next year, companies along the automotive supply chain should have at least formally completed their homework.
