Session description
ownCloud COO Holger Dyroff shows how companies and organizations can create sovereign workspaces to address the evolving needs of the remote-equal workforce using open platforms - and to protect the organization from data loss and privacy fines in the process. Digital sovereignty does not only mean data sovereignty, but also independence from particular vendors and being able to adapt, change and replace systems and processes easily. Depending on the required security level, ownCloud can be run on-premises, on a cloud server or ready-made as a service, hosted in a secure data center in Germany.
