Although email has been declared dead many times, it persists. This is because no other means of communication has yet managed to replace it. It is still the lowest common denominator of communication. Nevertheless, email does have quite some room for improvement, especially in view of its lack of security. In this presentation, Marcel Mock, Chief Technical Officer at totemo, will highlight five current challenges for secure email communication, including data sovereignty and control, interoperability and traceability. For each challenge, he shows a possible way to meet the challenge and solve it.
