Germany's IT Security Act 2.0 tightens the requirements for operators of critical infrastructure. New companies fall under the regulation and thus must also by law continuously track and evaluate detection and related parameters in their systems/assets. Cybercriminals often penetrate their target's IT and OT systems several months before the actual attack, finally hitting where it hurts. For critical entities, such an incident can severely disrupt several areas of society.

Radar Cyber Security, with its European proprietary detection and response platform technology, can monitor both IT and OT worlds and centrally map security status information. The company runs Europe's largest cyber defense center in Vienna, which operates with proprietary European technology for Managed Service customers.

Ali Carl Gülerman is CEO and managing director of Radar Cyber Security. He has more than 20 years of experience in various management positions in the IT industry. His particular focus includes the planning and implementation of cyber security strategies for Critical Infrastructure Operators (CIPOs), taking into account European initiatives (such as the EU NIS Directive).
