Day X has come. What seemed unthinkable a moment ago is now harsh reality. And you are right in the middle of it. But it is not enough just to manage the issue: Colleagues and staff also demand answers and leadership.

Our experience shows: even the best company will be hit by a serious IT security incident at some point. It is not a question of whether a case occurs but only when it occurs.

At the same time, the increasingly complex IT security risks make it necessary to be able to react strategically and in close coordination with the other departments in the event of a crisis. How do IT, the board, the legal department and communications pull together?

The best way to prepare for IT security incidents and other crises is through crisis simulations. These training programmes recreate the crisis mitigation processes in the company realistically and in real time based on a concrete crisis scenario.

By including different departments and company divisions, crisis simulations enable a holistic view of how to deal with IT security incidents in the company. Weaknesses can be identified and remedied before fiction becomes reality.

In this lecture, we will present some possibilities for the implementation of crisis simulations and integrated crisis trainings that allow you to prepare your company for day X.
