Session description
Stalkerware allows the perpetrator to remotely monitor the entire device, i.e. including Internet searches, locations, text messages, photos, voice calls and much more. The programs needed for this are easy to obtain and install. They run hidden in the background, without the knowledge and consent of the person concerned. In this presentation, Stephan Gerling, Senior Security Researcher at Kaspersky's ICS CERT, explains how you can be spied on via a smartphone or other devices with the help of so-called stalkerware and what you can do about it or who you can turn to if you lack the technical means.
