Session description
In the trilogy at the end of June, the EU decided on the basis for a revision of the eIDAS Regulation and the new regulation is expected to be adopted before the end of this year. The new regulation is intended to introduce secure electronic identities throughout Europe. For this purpose, the EU Digital Identity Wallet will be created, which will enable secure electronic transactions in e-commerce, e-government and e-justice throughout Europe.
