While the
first EU Implementing Act dedicated to Cybersecurity Certification is about to
come, it is time for the ecosystem to get ready. ENISA, The European Agency for
Cybersecurity in charge of drafting the future schemes, is giving an update on
the upcoming schemes: Common Criteria based European cybersecurity
certification scheme (EUCC), Cloud Services, (EUCS) and EU5G but also how
certification can tackle emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence
or the EUID Wallet.
Built with the ecosystem, the schemes are dedicated to support it. Conformity
Assessment Bodies, Developers and manufacturers and ICT solutions providers are
called to take part to its implementation and build a EU wide community to
reinforce trust in the security of ICT products.
As EUCC, the scheme dedicated to ICT products and software is soon ready to be
published. Those already involved with the Common Criteria framework need to
start planning for transition. Discover the initiatives and guidelines prepared
by the European Commission and ENISA to support the implementation of the first
EU cybersecurity certification scheme.
