Action description

About Janka Kreißl:
Janka Kreißl studied Journalism and English at the University of Leipzig and at the University of Wales/Bangor. She has worked for PR and advertising agencies, in technical documentation and in corporate communications. She spent almost three years at sea as an officer on cruise ships - a good basis for her current work, in which she accompanies organisations through stormy times with strategic vision and communicative expertise. Together with her team, Janka has already supported numerous companies that have fallen victim to ransomware attacks in the area of crisis management and communication. In the interdisciplinary crisis teams, she was responsible for strategic consulting as well as the conception and implementation of communication measures.

Preparation for and management of cyber incidents can only be successful if strategies and measures are designed and implemented across departments. The presentation will use practical examples to explain how crisis managers act as mediators between IT, C-level and external experts and show how companies can prepare themselves communicatively for an emergency cyber attack in order to avoid reputational damage in the best possible way
