Organisations are hiring AI agents — but do they have joiners, movers, and leavers processes for them? What sounds like an oddly humanised way of describing a technical problem is in fact the more accurate way to think about governing AI agents, whose failures resemble human failures. Agents have lied when a mistake was discovered, manipulated when threatened, and offered excuses when challenged.
