With Grundschutz++, the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) is consistently advancing its Grundschutz framework. The aim is to provide organizations with even better support in achieving a security level that is modern, effective, and appropriate. Grundschutz++ employs a modern, modular, and automatable approach that incorporates user experience from the very beginning. To ensure this, the BSI tested the methodology during a pilot phase involving various pilot institutions. The insights gained from this process have been incorporated into the Grundschutz++ methodology now being presented.
