Session description

Speaker: Dr. Michael Grey

How do you bring cloud agility to an environment where security requirements are non-negotiable?
In classified environments, tenant separation, encryption, cryptographic autonomy and regulatory requirements have to be part of the architecture from the start. At the same time, cloud infrastructures need to remain flexible and evolve over time.

Using secunet classified cloud as an example, this presentation looks at how we approach this challenge at the architectural level. The key concept is a clear separation between cloud functionality and the security architecture. This allows the cloud infrastructure to be developed, updated and operated independently, while security requirements are enforced by a separate security layer.
