Product Description

"verinice ISMS" is a tool for information security management, produced and offered by SerNet. All product info can be found at https://verinice.com. verinice is free open source software and the source code is fully and openly available on the Internet.

NIS 2 is a directive issued by the EU in January that will be adopted by national legislatures in 2023 or 2024.

SerNet will incorporate the NIS 2 guidelines into the verinice tool in two ways: First, there will be a mapping to ISO 27001 in the existing verinice tool, and second, an implementation in verinice.veo - the web-based new verinice.

At it-sa 2023 SerNet will present the new "verinice ISMS":

  • Analogous to the "verinice DSMS", which has already been available since the beginning of 2023, the new ISMS tool can be operated completely in the browser.
  • All functions of the previous tool have been created from scratch and enable a modern and intuitive use.
  • State-of-the-art database and container technology are used.
