HowTo – Manage multiple online profiles correctly

 

How do I manage online profiles when participating in different exhibitions or presenting multiple brands?

In the SelfService tool, you can customize and manage your online profiles individually to present your company and products exactly as needed for each exhibition participation or brand strategy.
Do you want to address multiple target groups, for example because you participate in different exhibitions? Or do you represent several brands and want to present them specifically?

Use multiple company profiles and combine them with the appropriate product profiles – this way, you create a tailored online profile for each exhibition or brand.

An initial company profile has been created automatically for you. For every additional focus – whether a new exhibition or an additional brand – you can easily create and use further company profiles.

Requirements:

  • You have booked a stand space at different exhibitions.
  • Your participations are available in the SelfService tool.

Use the existing company profile for one event – and create an additional company profile for each further exhibition.

Presenting multiple brands

Customize your online profiles per brand!

Requirements:

  • You have booked multiple stand spaces at one exhibition.
  • Your participations are available in the SelfService tool.

Use the existing company profile for Brand 1 – and create additional profiles for Brand 2, 3, etc.

Step-by-step guide for managing multiple online profiles

The instructions can be used for both use cases described above.

  1. On the start page, click the button "Company profiles".
  2. In the overview, you can:
    - add another company profile, or
    - edit an existing one.

Adjust the existing company profile if you want to use it for a specific exhibition or present a particular brand.
 

  1. Click on the company profile you want to edit or use the "Edit profile" icon in the overview.
  2. Adjust the company name as needed – for example, for the first brand. 
    Important: The name will be displayed in the online profile, floor plan, exhibition guide, and TicketCenter.
  3. Navigate through the different tabs – such as Company description, Logo & images, Downloads and Team – to update or complete the information.
  4. Click "Save" to apply your changes.

Create an additional company profile if you want to target different audiences or present multiple brands separately.
Note: Adding another profile is useful if you participate in multiple exhibitions or want to showcase several brands individually.
 

  1. Click the Plus symbol or the empty tile to create a new company profile.
  2. Fill in the mandatory field Company name in online profile / brand, e.g., the name of the second brand. Also enter all other basic data. 
    Important: The name will be displayed in the online profile, floor plan, exhibition guide, and TicketCenter.
  3. Enter all relevant information, such as description, contact details, images, and documents.

An online profile always consists of a company profile and one or more product profiles. Combine the appropriate profiles to match your exhibition participations or brands.
 

  1. Click on the exhibition you want to configure an online profile for.
  2. Select the company profile / brand that fits the exhibition and target audience.
  3. Review the product groups or select new ones to properly categorize the products.
  4. Choose one or two products – or unlock additional product profiles if needed.
  5. Assign suitable product groups to the products.
  6. Click "Save" to apply your changes.
