HowTo - Update employees on the online profile

How can I add employees to the online profile, make them product experts or remove them?

On the it-sa 365, every employee who is shown on the online profile also has a user profile and thus is part of the it-sa community.  The platform can be used free of charge as a registered user. Users have the opportunity to network with experts 365 days a year and communicate directly . They are also kept up to date with the latest news on all it-sa 365 topics.

Employees that you add using the SelfService tool must also register as users at it-sa 365. Employees and user profiles will then be automatically matched based on the email address provided and are then assigned to your company. To ensure correct matching, always use the private business e-mail address for your employees and product experts.

Add new employees in the SelfService tool

You can add new employees within a company profile. To do this, open the Company profile.

  • Click on the "Employees" item in the tab navigation
  • Use the "Plus" icon to add a new employee. Enter the employee details in the data fields and upload a image. The image crop can be adjusted.
  • Update the online profile for your participation at it-sa 365: HowTo - Update online profile. With this step the new addes emploxee will be shown online.

Note: Employees are only visible on your online profile if they have also registered as a user on it-sa 365.

Please keep in mind:

  • If the newly added emoployee is already a registered user at it-sa 365, his/her profile will be automatically connected.
  • If the newly created employee is not yet a registered user, he/she will receive an e-mail requesting him/her to register.

The employee will only be displayed on the company profile at it-sa 365 once he/she has been registered.

Edit or delete employees in the SelfService tool

This is only possible if the employee data is available in the SelfService tool! If this is NOT the case and you want to change or delete employees from your online profile, please contact itsa365@nuernbergmesse.de

Of course, you can edit the information of an employee at any time or delete the employee. To do this, go to the relevant company profile.

  • Click on the "Employees" item in the tab navigation
  • Use either the "Edit profile" icon to edit employee data or the "Delete" icon to remove the employee from your profile.
  • Update the online profile for your participation at it-sa 365: HowTo - Update online profile. With this step the changes will be shown online.

Delete existing and registered user profiles / employees that are not listed in the SelfService tool

Unfortunately, you cannot remove these employees from your online profile yourself. Please contact your exhibition team.

Make employees product experts

Before you can select a product expert for a product, he or she must first be added as an employee in a company profile.

First open the product profile on which you would like to add a product expert.

  • Click on the "Expert" tab in the product profile
  • In the overview, first click on the company profile where the relevant employee is listed. Now select the employee who is the product expert for the product.
  • Update the online profile for your participation at it-sa 365: 
    HowTo - Update online profile. With this step the changes will be shown online.

Note: Employees/product experts are only visible on your online profile if they have also registered as a user on it-sa 365.
