DIGITTRADE GmbH

DIGITTRADE GmbH has been developing and producing external encrypted hard drives and USB sticks for the secure protection of confidential and personal data since 2005. Banks, companies and public authorities use these highly secure data storage devices both for the everyday transport and postal dispatch of particularly sensitive information and for the creation of data protection-compliant backups.

The company is a long-standing member of the federal associations BITKOM and TeleTrusT as well as the German Association for Defence Technology (DWT) and the Alliance for Cyber Security (BSI). In addition, the company has the trust mark "IT Security made in Germany".

Since its foundation, DIGITTRADE has developed a range of encrypted hard drives and USB sticks. Each of these products represents a unique innovation. This is confirmed by numerous innovation awards as well as registered patents and IT security certificates and approvals received.

These include several innovation awards-IT from the Initiative Mittelstand, Hugo Junkers Award for Research and Innovation from Saxony-Anhalt, IQ Innovation Award Central Germany in the Information Technology Cluster and others.

In 2013, the HS256S hard disk was the first hard disk in Germany to receive the ULD data protection seal from the Independent Centre for Data Protection in Schleswig-Holstein.

In 2017, the HS256 S3 hard disk was the only hard disk in the world to receive the German IT security certificate from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI-DSZ-CC-0825-2017).

In 2020, the KOBRA Stick VS was the only USB stick worldwide to receive BSI approval (BSI-VSA-10338) for the storage, processing and transmission of confidential information classified up to level VS-NfD (Classified Information for Official Use Only) and NATO and EU RESTRICTED.
