MTG ERS ® - All Modules PQC-Ready!
- MTG Certificate Lifecycle Manager (CLM)
- MTG PKI
- MTG Key Management System (KMS)
With our PQC portfolio, it is already possible today to protect data against subsequent decryption by quantum computers. To this end, existing ERS components have been extended to include PQC algorithms. NIST has recently published draft specifications of three post-quantum algorithms. Of these, MTG has already integrated CRYSTALS-Dilithium and SPHINCS+, and CRYSTALS-Kyber is in preparation. FALCON, whose draft specification is announced for 2024, is also already supported.
CONSULTING PQC MIGRATION
We accompany our customers in joint consulting projects during the migration and integration of PQC in existing systems, applications and protocols. During the introduction of PQC in companies and in specific PQC projects, impulse presentations and introductory workshops are a proven means of picking up the future stakeholders and conveying awareness of the current challenges in good time.

PQC Web Browser & Web Server
MTG incorporated various PQC algorithms into the MTG ERS® during development. For this purpose, a Mozilla Firefox-based browser (Sunray) and an Apache Tomcat-based web server with integrated support for PQC TLS were implemented.
PQC e-mail client Sunbeam
An extension to the Thunderbird mail program and the S/MIME format was developed for encrypting and signing e-mails. The newly created program Sunbeam allows the user to encrypt e-mails using Classic McEliece and sign them using SPHINCS+. The encryption is a hybrid encryption. The message and any attachments are encrypted with a symmetric key and this key is encrypted with a Classic McEliece public key.
PQC Document Signing
The PQCDoc application enables signing and encryption of archived documents with selected PQC algorithms.
