How does seculution 2.0 work? The patented, guaranteed antivirus protection by SecuLution GmbH does away with several prejudices against application whitelisting. It's neither high-maintenance nor difficult to explain. Three components interact with each other and thus carry out the work that every admin initially fears when it comes to whitelisting virtually on their own. But see for yourself: Agent On every computer that is secured with seculution 2.0, the agent generates a hash from the binary data of the applications to be started. This hash is used to uniquely identify the program to be started. If the hash is not on the whitelist, the execution of the software is refused. Server The server contains the whitelist you have maintained. This server is a virtual machine on your network. So you have full control over your data at all times. If a hash is unknown here, the server checks the TrustLevel in the seculution Cloud and automatically learns the hash if the response is positive. seculution Cloud seculution maintains a cloud-based database with hashes of trusted software in a German data centre. How trustworthy a hash is, is evaluated by seculution with so-called TrustLevels. The TrustLevel database is maintained exclusively by employees of SecuLution GmbH and provides a good TrustLevel for more than 99% of all queries.
