PRESENSE Technologies GmbH was founded at the end of 2008. Our employees have many years of expertise in the field of software development and information security, especially in the areas of IT security management, network security, cryptography and incident handling.
Our mission statement is based on the strategic goals of the national plan for the protection of information infrastructures:

To this end, results from national and international security research are translated into innovative solutions and services to more quickly detect threats from the Internet and strengthen our ability to respond to attacks.
Novel attack methods are detected, which the currently available security services mostly do not recognize. As a result, companies and government agencies that deploy these solutions directly benefit in defending against attacks on their IT systems and infrastructure. In combination with an IT early warning system, direct integration into the alerting chain results in a significant time advantage that comes to bear in minimizing damage, since countermeasures can be taken without possibly already being affected themselves.
Our security services complement traditional security systems not only in the area of network security. These are only insufficiently able to cope with current requirements, as the security measures are primarily effective against attacks from "outside". Internal defenses are criminally neglected. A very high threat potential is posed by infected data and mobile data carriers. In cooperation with the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), PRESENSE has developed the JANUS / PROVAIA data locks, a perimeter protection for mobile data carriers and devices, in order to effectively prevent the intrusion of malware via this route.
