Cyber Defence Specialist Incident Response and Forensics (f/m/d)

Your tasks

• Incident response and IT forensics activities for small businesses to large corporations (Identification, Containment, Remediation, Recovery).
• Coordinate the escalation, response, resolution, and reporting of cyber security incidents
• Collaborate with other areas to effectively predict, prevent, detect and respond to cyber threats
• Assist in the research and evaluation of new security technologies, processes, and methodologies
• Independently conduct consulting projects and workshops at customer sites

Your profile

• Completed education at technical college/ HTL/ FH/TU with focus on IT security / information security or first professional experience in the field of cyber security
• Experience in conducting incident response on a global scale
• Understanding of attack vectors, vulnerabilities and how they are exploited by malicious actors
• Experience in maintaining and optimizing operations 
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP)/IP and device protocol formats (e.g., Windows, Linux, proxy, and AV) a plus
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of data analysis methods
• Strong communication skills with strong customer and service orientation
