IT Security Consultant Data Protection and Information Security (f/m/d)

Your tasks

• Assuming mandates as external data protection or information security officer for our clients
• Advising companies in the field of data protection, information and IT security as well as in the selection of information security management systems
• Conceptual design and advice on the implementation/optimisation of data protection or information security management systems
• Preparation and implementation of information security projects as well as sensitisation of clients
• Carrying out gap analyses, maturity measurements and risk management for data protection/information security-relevant processes of our clients
• Preparation and implementation of audits in the area of data protection and/or on the basis of BSI-Grundschutz or ISO27001
• Close cooperation and coordination with the legal, governance and compliance department as well as external partners, suppliers and supervisory authorities

Your profile

• Completed technical vocational training or studies in the field of (business) informatics or legal studies with a focus on IT law.
• relevant professional experience in projects in the field of data protection, information security and IT
• experience in the development and management of projects
• ideally, certification as an IT security officer (BSI/TÜV) or as a data protection officer 
• strong communication skills and customer and service orientation
• Independent, structured and careful way of working
• good written and spoken German and English skills
